After many years of planning and fundraising, our new digital organ was delivered and installed this week, and dedicated by Revd Liz Blair at a service of celebration on Sunday 13 September.
The new instrument is a three-manual Chapel CF30 by Allen Organs, finished in walnut.
The service, themed around the wonders of creation, put the organ through its paces, with Jeremiah Clarke’s Trumpet Voluntary, The Heavens are Telling the Glory of God from Joseph Haydn’s Creation, César Franck’s Panis Angelicus, a Wurlitzer-style What a Wonderful World, and finished with a light-hearted I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside!
