Churches came together at the Baptist Church to hear about this year’s appeal from Christian Aid, to help prevent mothers from dying in Sierra Leone because of a lack of medical facilities.  Churches will be collecting door-to-door this week, showing British and Irish churches’ love in action around the world.  In our joint service, we heard from Revelation 7, about a vision of God wiping away tears, and we watched a video showing Christian Aid’s work.
