Historic John Dobson-designed St Columba’s United Reformed Church on Northumberland Square is holding a Strawberry Fayre in the church hall – refreshments will be available all day.

There will also be an exhibition in the main church – Past, Present and Future – highlighting the role the church has played in the history of North Shields.  This ties in with North Shields 800 – celebrating the octocentenary of the founding of the town in 1225.  All are welcome.
