Fellowship

The informal Fellowship group meets in the church hall after the Sunday evening service, to enjoy music, singing, reflection, discussion, and fun.  If you prefer a less structured approach to worship, then this may be for you.  People begin arriving from 19.30, with music beginning at about 20.00, until 21.00.

There are usually about 10 people with a wide age range, and newcomers are always welcome.  Each week, our evening is based fairly loosely around a theme, and anyone can bring a song, a joke or story to share if they wish.  We sit around a table with tea and biscuits, and our musical accompaniment is provided by a variety of instruments, including piano, accordion, guitars, maracas, drum and tambourines.  We sing a variety of praise, reflective, modern and traditional Christian and occasionally secular songs, mainly from Mission Praise 1, Power Praise Revised, and The Source, along with a few of our own, including a festive Geordie version of The Twelve Days of Christmas.

Currently (2018), the Fellowship is meeting only on advertised evenings.
